Diagnostic-Essay: Influence

Super-charisma is the ability to change the decorum of the masses through rhetoric and appealing legitimacy at an impossible level. It is not necessarily mind-control because many individuals who fall witness to Super-charisma will maintain control of their free-will. My superpower of Super -charisma would be a peaceful solution for a majority of the indiscretions facing my generation that the entire world could adhere to.

There are a plethora of vices that plague mankind. From poverty to political corruption we effect ourselves negatively and our surrounding environment. Personally, the first place I would choose to wield this power is Europe. From here the world can observe how truly passionate I would be about changing the corruption of worldly matters. I would promote the study of higher thought. For example: the concept of an individual being a part of whole. Most people go throughout life advancing their own current states of being. In turn, we do selfish things such as littering or tearing down what according to society is a less than exceptional way of life i.e. your so-called “slums”. Sometimes, it is not taken into account that people live in these places. One thing I would not do, however, is use this superpower to become the worlds acceptable definition of a leader. One would want to stay in a position that average normal people can relate to. Anyone can listen to presidential speeches and a sermon by the pope and take that as face value. History has taught us that leadership cannot always be trusted. History has taught us that our authorities are human themselves. Unfortunately, a main component of human character is greed. A position of authority by its very nature has the ability to change people often in a negative way. In my opinion, it would take someone with translucent power (non-eminent) for the populous to realize that this person is less likely to be self-indulgent.

The next place I would travel to, taking into consideration that I would have the pecuniary freedom to do so, would be a third-world country. I would also convince several others to accompany me on my visit. I would have translators, other spokesman, and maybe someone famous. After all, Super-charisma would be the one thing I needed to persuade these individuals to help me. Over time this power would evolve from me simply “influencing the masses” to a full on reformation project.
